What does informação sobre o início dos trabalhos mean in Portugal?
The informação sobre o início dos trabalhos is a notice to the council at least five days before work starts, naming who will carry it out. It applies even to exempt works, except conservation work done only inside a building.

What it means for the owner
- The person doing the work must follow the projects exactly and respect the conditions of the licence or notification (art. 80.º-A n.º 2).
- A notice must be posted where it can be seen from the public road, at least five days before work starts (art. 80.º-A n.º 5).
- The notice lapses if work has not begun within a year (art. 80.º-A n.º 6).
